I think I will-I have never been.

I've not made arrangements yet, and it looks like there is no room at the inn.

Is there another nearby that is a favorite? I'll want to walk-for example is it easy to walk from that doubletree?

Jon,
I've been to the Jamboree ten times but have never stayed at the Sheraton. See following map for other options, all within easy walking distance.

Great, I figured, but never being there-sometimes you can't easily walk across a highway

thanks

You are welcome, Jon. I've stayed at four different hotels close to the Sheraton, two on the same side of the Freeway as the Sheraton & two on the other side. Note there is a good bridge (Esters Blvd.) that crosses the Freeway - see attached photos.

From the 1st picture, you can see the Sheraton on the right, looking from centre of the bridge toward the Days Inn.

Look forward to meeting you Derek.

I don't know why my post was moved from the Events section. Anybody know?

The reason this thread was moved was that it was not an event announcement - it was started to find out who was going to the show. Here's the new Events thread (thanks Mike!) with details about the Dallas show - https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=378440

Carry on. :)

Got my room at the Holiday Inn Express booked. Plan to see as much as I can, test play some steels and meet a bunch of people. Glad it is happening this year-I'm looking forward to it-see you all there!
