The dreaded flat hand

Post by Peter Dollard »

I will never forget Jeffs reaction to watching JD Manesses "flat hand" at the 1999 Sacramento show with jeff. JD said he knew nothing about C6th and then proceeded to torch the neck. Jeff jumped across the stage to stand next to him...So like Journigan there is always another way... in general Jeff is right

I found that since working on having my fingers coming into the string at an angle instead of straight on has improved my tone more than anything else I've tried so far. This video might have been the thing that has finally flipped my solidly to picks instead of fingers.
