Wayne I got a Desert Rose from Chuck in March at the Dallas show. What a great guy he is and his guitars show that as well. I have a blue stained maple sd-10 3x5. My sierra stays at church My DR goes every where with me.
Good Luck on your Purchase

Chuck came by my house in Tucson yesterday and left his Black SD-10 with 3 and 5. Awesome guitar. Killer tone, fit and finish. I may have to talk him out of this one.

He also sat in on a couple of songs Saturday night, (his old gig where he would try out new ideals on his guitars)what a killer player and great guy. His guitars should be at the top of your wish list if you're looking to get something new, at least try one out if you can get close to one.

I can't say enough good things about him or his guitar. Chuck for President.

received my Desert Rose jat the 2006 Dallas Convention. It's a D-10 9x8, Charcoal in color. Beautiful guitar. It came with Gl E-66's. Changed them to Star pickups. I recently sent the guitar to Chuck for some upgrades he had for it and to install Trutone pickups. Chuck said I wouldn't recognise my guitar when I got it back. I have known Chuck for over 30 years and he has always been good to his word so I can't wait to get it back. There were some pics of it posted around may 11 it anyone wants to take a look. under "pedal steel" with me as poster. Check them out.

I've had my Desert Rose S-10, 4&5 for over a year, what a great instrument. Stay's in tune better than any other guitar I've had. Have only had to readjust tuning at changer side once since owning it. Chuck Back is one super picker as well. No one can go wrong with a Desert Rose in their future.

I have a S10 that is a little more than a beginner model. It's a fair guitar and plays well. Tone is a shallow but can be overcome. This is a christmas gift to my son so I am getting it ready for him.

I have played the Desert Rose "Beginner" guitar and was impressed with it..I believe that it's the BEST student model guitar made.

You could play a gig with it and feel comfortable using it.

Chuck makes GREAT stuff and is also a good man to deal with. I have a D10 on order and
am excited about getting it.
