Hi Tim,

When was the head made?

I have one of these as well as the 85w combo, and the bright switch is different as well as the standby switch is on the back of mine.

Just curious, thanks.

Milkman 85 watt pedal steel head

Tonewise, does anybody know how it stacks up against a Little Walter?

Hey John!

Yes, we moved up here about 6 months ago - unfortunately, the westside is going through a lot of problems at the moment. Hope all is well with you!

Cheers!

Hi George, I've not tried a LW so I'n afraid I can't speak to that. The Milkman is basically a Fender circuit dialed in for steel. I have 2 of these and a Pedal Steel Mini - they are incredible amps!

thats for the newer smaller version with the aluminum chassis. Those original ones are at least 7-8 pounds more

These amps are killer! I run it through Milkman's 2-12" speaker cabinet and am blown away by the sweetness!
