GFI S-10 EXPO, 3&4, Emmons Setup - SOLD

Post by Ken Mizell »

FOR SALE: GFI Expo S-10, 3 & 4, Emmons setup.

1" over standard height. I'm 6'0", and it works fine for me.

Manufacturing date: 11/14/2018

PRICE: $2,000 + S&H - PayPal preferred, but other methods considered.

SHIPPING: I anticipate it costing about $175 to $200 to ship the guitar. Maybe more? I'm not sure. I will advise of, and will only charge, the actual S&H cost. Alternately - It would be good if someone in Florida or Georgia wants to buy the guitar. Travel (buying a couple of tanks of gas) is still cheaper than shipping, and it's much safer for the package. FYI: I just ran an estimate through my FedEx account, shipping from Central, FL to WA state, with $2,200 of insurance - $97.00. The boxing up would be additional, so we are looking at around $125-$150 for shipping, depending on where it's going.

ALSO: I have a matching Don Blood Armrest for this GFI (Photo attached), along with a Leigh Pollari custom cover designed to fit the GFI with the arm rest attached. Both are in great shape. I will include the armrest and cover for an additional $100 (+ S&H), if I can't fit it into the case with the guitar and pedal board. I'm also willing to sell the armrest and cover separately if the person buying the guitar isn't interested.

See the chart down below for setup details.

After I bought this guitar (used), I installed:

- Eb to E change (2nd string)
- F# to G change (7th string)
- GFI OEM knee lever flags on the LKR and RKR
- NEW, GFI OEM, 1" over standard legs (I don't have the standard legs anymore).

The guitar has a new set of GHS strings.I can include an extra set in the case. The GFI uses .22P 6th strings.

CASE: Very good condition, and it has wheels (if you want them).

LEG BAG: A heavy duty, marine grade vinyl leg bag with a flap is included. The bag was made by Leigh Pollari, and this one has heavy duty, thick, fabric backed vinyl. The bag has been empty since I bought it, and has never been used. It's basically brand new.

NOTE: There are some spots on the black pedal board mica. The spots are colorless on black. Hard to see. The finish and quality of the pedal board is excellent, but the mica has these spots - ONLY on the pedal board mica. I can provide pics if requested. >>> GFI advised me that a new strip of mica for the pedal bar is $25.00.

If more information or photos are needed, just ask via e-mail and I will send more.

Contact me via PM or email if interested.

Thank you for looking.

Hello Mr. Mizell.
Would you consider having a brief phone conversation with me regarding this instrument?
I am a total novice to pedal-steel, so there are a couple of items in the listing that I don't fully understand.
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Jack Kane
