Looking for Peter Rowan's "Shirt Off My Back" chords

Post by Fred Hedgecoth »

I have a terrible ear for subtle chord and note changes! Anybody know the guitar dhords for "Shirt Off My Back"? I hate to ruin the song by messing up the changes. Thanks!

Charts w/o measures and timing are handicapped I know. The picking pattern is what's important here but...
Here's what I get from the version with Tony Rice.... Pretty much repeats after this. Thanks for this song. I just learned it on Mandolin and it's sweet...

Thanks David! Like I said, my ear is pretty bad for chords and I really appreciate your help with this. And you're right, it's a sweet one!

After a few listens I'm almost sure that the main guitar is tuned to G. (D, G, D, G, B, D). Like Little Feat on Willing.
Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube.
