folks this 1996 D-10 Franklin is a fine steel not only beauty full but plays and sounds fantastic and the pickups are LXR16's I think there were only 2 of these made this color, plus Johnie will treat you right, call, text or stop by his place and try this steel and a bunch more he has to see what fits your taste . sure you will take this one or some thing else but with hands on see in person and feel play ability and listen to the sound will determend the one to take home with you. plus bring some steel playing friends to see if they want to purchase some also.

Wow Johnie and Jerry 2 fine looking steels and I think they are the only 2 made that color .Johnie has got some great looking, playing sounding steels for sure. any one looking for a steel guitar needs to take your friends with you go for a road trip to Johnie's place spend some time on his also herd of steel guitars but be sure to take some payment method with you I am almost sure you will want to take some steels back with you, and Johnie and Sue great people to meet and get to know them . good luck on your sales Johnie and may God bless you and yours take care my friend and be safe.

I think Donna's is a little different...teal front,black top...a little earlier build....guess Sr.would know the #'s of teal made...

4 beautiful pics there Johnie well better make that 3 lol. man this Franklin and that sd-10 Emmons you converted look awesome. Johnie puts a lot of work and pride when he converts these steels goes the extra mile. He also has a lot of good steels well worth the drive to meet him in person and check his steels out. And al;so has a sweet lovely wife great folks both of them. Don't for get to take friends looking for a steel or 2 and paynent with you all.
