The one on the right looks like an escapee from Roswell

It looks like it's not on e pedal steel.

The doodads were found on an MSA. On the pull rod, up against the bellcrank.

Charlie,
If it was on a knee lever pull, it was probably a device to keep the nylon nut end of the pull rod from sliding too far out the endplate when the lever was folded up.
