I own an Emmons. It's an Emmons LeGrandeII, 93' model. It's a great sounding, playing steel. I love the thing. I have always wanted a Sho~bud, and almost bought one a few days ago, when I realized, I already had what I felt was the best steel out there. I hear a lot of people whine about other steel brands; fact is, you like what you like and nothing else is gonna do. I like Emmons. To me, that is the best.
My steel is kinda beat up. And althoug I ordered it brand new, it came to me like that. Dang UPS... But it has performed well over the last 13 years. I decided to buy it cause Larry Sasser was playing one on Nashville Now... Why did you buy the one you play?

WELL, WAYNE, MAYBE I'M CRAZY, DON'T ASK TWO MANY PEOPLE, THEY MAY AGREE. I'M SELLING MY MSA D10 8/2, I LIKE MSA, THERE A GREAT INSERMENT I HAVE OWNED TWO. BUT THE D10 WAS GETTING TWO HEAVY, AND I DIDN'T PLAY THE C6TH SO DECIDED TO GET AN S10 3/4, AND FOUND THIS NICE DESERT ROSE S10 3/4 AVALIABLE. IT WILL BE ALL I NEED FOR MY AGE, ABILITY AND WHAT LITTLE OUT SIDE PLAYING I DO ANY MORE.

MSA D10 8/2
soon to be DR S10 3/4

Wayne B, I own only one steel. An Emmons Lashley LeGrande from the nineties. It's a single neck E9(and yes it's black!). Prior to that I owned a JCH and before that I owned a Shobud LDG. Of all three I am happiest with the Emmons. It
just sounds and plays better to me.

Wayne have not heard from you in some time. Sure miss our days together, wish you were here again. Ken Fox moved up the street from where you lived. We play some.I had the D10 redone all the way works nice, Bought a Pro 1 and Leon rebuilt it. Had Albert buiid new cases for both. Was playing the D10 past night and it would not sustain like it should, it dawned on me yesterday the strings are 5 months old. replaced them tonight. still using Jags stainless. Never get rid of the old emmons you 2 were made for each other. How are you, where are you and how is everything?
wish you were here.
