Trying to gauge interest - Little Walter Combo
I have had this Little Walter 89 Combo amp for a while now, and it is everything I expected and more. The "more" is the weight. This thing is a beast, and I'm about to turn 63. I'm exploring the idea of selling and ordering the LW 89 head and cab combination. I have about $2,250 into this excluding shipping. What are the opinions. Does anyone have any interest at this price?

The main issue here is a regular PF89 is a smaller head about 19”, this one is more like a Fender Twin. Rick Johnson can make a beautiful head cab for it and 2 speaker cabs but you’ll be into this amp another $700.00 at least. Both are viable options but pricey.
I thought Nashville was the roughest, but I know I’ve said the same about them all.

Just a thought…Phil is a great guy and your amp is in perfect condition, since you want one of his products again have you asked him about trading in this amp for the other? Couldn’t hurt!

I asked Phil about a trade. He couldn't do it.

Grab a dolly and keep it.
Saw a similar one online a couple months ago at a music store in North Carolina. Had it not been for the fact he wouldn’t ship it, I would’ve bought it. I’d change the speakers out and roll with it personally and then down the road have Rick or Tommy Huff split it into a head and speaker cabs
