I have a new GFI Ultra S-10 with pad, keyless. The tuner knobs are so tight that I had to use pliers to turn some of them.
Is this just because its new and will eventually get easier to turn or just the way they are?

Is there a socket size that will fit? I tried a standard 1/2" and it was too big, maybe a metric size?

I've been advised a 12 point 7/16" socket is what is needed.

The GFI website says 11mm so a 7/16" is only a few 1/1000's over

I got the 7/16" in a call this morning from Billy Cooper. He said that is what he uses in his shop.
