This is one of the tunes that made me fall in love with the steel guitar back in the day. My understanding is that he played it in E9…here it is in C6 on a Magnatone.

Excellent Steve. Love the vibe and urgency! I can do behind the bar strung pulls but not with my little finger. I am wincing thinking about it! Mike

My old pal Speedy would surely be impressed with your picking.
AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. My current rig of choice is 1993 Emmons LeGrande w/ 108 pups (Jack Strayhorn built for me), Goodrich OMNI Volume Pedal, George L's cables, Goodrich Baby Bloomer and Peavey Nashville 112. Can't get much sweeter.

Thanks Mike! I wish I had learned to do pulls with a different finger, but at this point I'm pretty committed to the pinky...just gotta keep up with the PED regimens! :lol:
