Hi
I'm looking for tuning machines for a 1980s Dobro with a slotted head. The old tuning knobs gave up and I'm getting tired of using vice grips to tune
The Dobro manufacturer is Original Musical Instrument Company, Huntingdon Beach, California

These are a bolt in substitute. I tried the imports, which didn't fit at all well, but may have since changed.

Thie National tuners at Resophonic Outfitters are currently sold out and it’s been this way for quite some time. I was looking at those awhile back for my early 1930s Dobro.
Good success has been had with Golden Age Restoration tuners from Stew Mac. There are some different specs available - make sure all the measurements are correct prior to placing your order.
