Surfer Girl - C6 lap steel double tracked

Post by Cliff Swanson »

I recorded this tune directly into Garageband playing a 1959 English Electronics Tonemaster and a 2021 Rukavina Ripple, both in C6. Thanks for listening!

Thanks Bill! A woman I knew many years ago had a connection to the Beach Boys and would hang out with them whenever they were within reasonable distance. Sadly that connection is lost for me so I don't think they'll be contacting me about a gig anytime soon :D .

Cool idea to double track it, Cliff.

Here's how I arranged it about 6 years ago - out of tempo but heartfelt.

Excellent Cliff. That would not be easy playing in sink so accurately. The result is really good. Mike
