Here's a brief taste of the Ray Charles classic "Drown in My Own Tears" played on a Weissenborn-style Hawaiian guitar built by David Dart. The subtle D7 tuning (high to low: D-A-F#-C-A-D) came at the suggestion of sacred steel player AJ Ghent, who knows what he is doing.
