I found: Released as a single in 1974. No credits found. Also released on self titled LP in 1975 with steel guitar credits for the LP listed as:

Pete Drake
Lloyd Green
Charlie Owens
Barry "Byrd" Burton of Amazing Rhythm Aces fame.

I would just be guessing, but it does not sound like either Lloyd or Pete. Not that familiar with Owens, but I have a lot of music with Byrd on steel and that would just my random guess.

Classic Pete Drake. My money is on Pete!
Best lyric in a country song: "...One more, Moon..."

I, and a couple of others, were talking with Jeff Newman one time and this song came up in the conversation, and he said it was Pete.

I found credits for Loyd & Charlie too.It does sound like Pete quite a bit....I think that's a good example of how 5 or 6 good little moves tastefully placed and played can make the song....

I played a job with TG around 1999 and he told me it was Pete Drake.
