Howdy out there,
I’m on the hunt for a left handed pedal steel.
This will be my first steel; so I’m not looking for anything too advanced or expensive.
Several folks have suggested I start with a 10 string, 3x4, E9; but I’ll take a peek at anything south paw.
If anyone knows of any lefty steels in need of a new home, please let me.
Thanks...

Ghttp://www.justicesteelguitars.com/et in touch with Fred Justice. Arizona.
Thanks for the info.
Justice is on my list of lefty makers; heard a lot about them.
I’m hoping to find a used lefty out there to start my steel education, while I get one made. Most builders I’ve chatted to have a 4 to 12 month wait time.
You never know, there may be a lefty out there collecting dust looking for a new player.

I'm right handed, but knowing what I know now, after 40 years or so, if I was left handed, I'd be looking for a right handed pedal steel. I believe it would be just as easy for a left hander to learn to play right handed, as it would be on a left handed instrument. And you would have an unlimited number of guitars to choose from. There really aren't many left handed steels in existence. When the time comes to sell a left hand pedal steel, there is almost no demand for them. I would give this some serious thought before buying.

Hi Kyle. Glad to see a fellow lefty out there! I just started playing pedal steel last month. I had an S-10 Jr. built by Justice Steel Guitars, and I love it! I spent about a year looking for a used one, then I finally decided just to have one made. It took the guys at Justice Guitars about 6 weeks. Hope this info helps. Best of luck!
