I have been playing somewhere every Friday and Saturday night, so I am glad Leland booked me on Sunday. I sure do miss Ray Qualls, he started this Show. I have all new songs I will be playing. If you like steel guitar, be sure to attend this show. You will get an ear full of steel guitar.

Keith I definitely miss Ray, this my first time putting the show together by myself but I was there from the beginning. I'm doing my best to do the show just like Ray taught me. It will be good to see you.

Much to my dissapointment, I will not be able to make the show this year. I had out patient surgury Wednesday and don't feel I can make the trip. Thanks to Lee for giving me a spot on the show. I was really looking forward to it. I know it will be a great show. You all have fun.

I would like to thank the KSGA for their friendship and hospitality to Bev and I over the years. It has been my pleasure and privilege to share the stage with you fine people. Unfortunately advancing age and deteorating health have made the trip down unwise at this time. It broke my heart to have to tell Lee that I had to cancel. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Have a great show, and we love you all!! Bev and Dick.

Dick I sure know the feeling you are having I am not up to it either. I only live a 100 miles away so I am thinking of going down one day to listen. Wes

TTT We are a week away from the Baxter Springs Show. It sure looks like it will be a great show that has been put together. I am excited to be invited and consider it a high honor to be there. If times flies I hope this next week goes fast so I can get there to play and make new friends.

I believe it's 2990 Military ave. They used to list it as 11th and East Ave. It's the Community bldg on that corner.

We are fast approaching our show so here is small update as of this morning. We have had a few Saturday cancellations.
Jerry Foster and Scotty Henderson cancelled and we are sorry that they will be unable to play this year. I will be moving my Sunday spot to Friday noonish sometime. In replacement of that opening on Sunday we have been able to replace that opening with the Whiskey River Band from the Winfield/Ark City area featuring Joel Day on steel. Don t miss these folks as they have a steel AND a fiddle! We would also like to mention that we will be selling raffle tickets for a 2005 MIM HSS Fender stratocaster guitar. Midnight blue, white pick guard and rosewood neck in very nice condition. Case included five dollars per chance. Look forward to seeing lots of good friends again.

I am scheduled to play at 10:40 on Sunday. I have been playing every Friday and Saturday, so I told Lee to book me on Sunday. Well, guess what,--- this coming weekend is the first weekend in a long time that I won't be playing on Friday or Saturday. If you need to change the schedule when I play it is OK with me. Just let me know? I am bringing a guitar player and fiddle player that will be playing with me.

I’ve been planning to go to Tulsa this weekend for a mini class reunion on Saturday. I Talked to Rick Crow and he planted the bug in my ear, “Why don’t you come to Baxter Springs on Friday then?” Well, I can make that work. I talked to Lee last night and he said come on and we’ll have a place for you. I look forward to seeing everyone, talking a little shop, and playing some. I also hear the food is quite good. 🤠

Randy if you leave the show hungry it is your fault. Looking forward to seeing you and hearing you play. We have a spot for you on Friday evening.
