Boy I thought I'd heard that Sierras were lacking in tone. I guess no one told Buddy.

And {gasp} it's keyless!

There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.

The usual magnificent Buddy Emmons but I can't say I like the tone.

I remember one year at the ISGC he played a Sierra and I and several others commented his sound "wasn't the usual Buddy". The next year he was still endorsing Sierra but didn't use a Sierra and it was "the Buddy Emmons sound".

I was there and it sounded great to me.
The video mic and shooting location in relation to the steel also factor in.
I don't remember if there's a spongy compression on there as well.

Sounded great to me too Chris. I don't know if it was the same year, but he also played that guitar at the ISGC convention with Darrell McCall.

I saw hime play a bunch of TV shows at Church Street Staion with the Sierra guitars too. Great sound.
