sho bud amp

Post by Ron Murray »

WOW.A beautiful SHO BUD amp. I have not seen that design before. I have a GRETSCH NASHVILLE PRO STEEL AMP that is a copy of sho bud amp. If i was steel playing i would buy it for sure. Churches today don't want a steel guitar in the modern type of worship music so i have had to go to the bass guitar. At least i am steel playing in church.

thanks Ron… this is a vintage amp, been sitting for a long time , and could use some TLC …. if it doesn’t sell I’ll just keep it , and take it to the shop for a good clean up and service … I was amazed how powerful this amp is , and tone is so clean , can’t be any cleaner …

They have a tendency to develop a loud PSCHHHH noise do to some transistors in them. Mine does that sitting at idle but when playing the tone and reverb are out standing. You have a beauty there. Mine came with a ALTEC LANSING 15 in speaker.

thanks bud, yes it’s a very nice amp , I just talked to Mike Scaggs , and if amp doesn’t sell soon, it will be on its way to his shop for a complete clean up and service

Damir; see if you or Mike can find an Original JBL D-130 that goes with that Amp(or even K-130) and a big Light bulb of sound will come on.
