Seeing Ruth's post reminds me:
DON'T GIVE IT A REGION CODE.
2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects

PSG Video

Post by Charley Bond »

I hope the Video cover the issues we all talk about & shares these problems from Guitar to Guitar, plus Pull & Release, Push Pull, Finger Pulls & so on. How about changing strings on a Keyless & a Keyed guitar...? How about changing from an Enmnons Pedal setup to a Day setup, that will keep some people busy... How to tune guitar upside down with a meter..?

When I get the video I'll let you know. I agree, knowing how to change from Emmons to Day and vice versa would be very valuable.

Got my video today. I should be an expert in no time right? Right. Good news is my wife won't see me for awhile. That'll make her happy. Thanks Mickey

Mickey Adams PSG Mechanics video??

Post by Michael Stephens »

I was just thinking how helpful it would be to have an expert provide video training on the mechanics and basic maintenance and repair of pedal steel guitar. Then I noticed this thread about Mickey Adams doing something like this about seven years ago. Did that actually happen and is this still available?

Mickey Adams PSG Mechanics video

Post by Murray McDowall »

Hi Mickey,
Just a thought, is it possible to make it (The Video) downloadable?
The “snail mail” to Australia is pretty steady at the moment, and also very expensive. :x

Stay safe, keep well,
Murray.

I refer to this video just about every time I do anything to one of my pedal steels. It's an essential resource.
