Actually, it's Billy Preston, not Booker T. I posted that picture on Instagram about a year ago.

Here's another nice one from that session. These and more are posted on the Pete Drake website.



At this session, Ringo asked Pete to play pedal steel on his upcoming country album, to be recorded in England. Pete convinced Ringo to come to Nashville to record it. Shortly afterward Ringo flew to Nashville and the rest is history!
