Got this a few months back. Needed a little electronics work (one bad resistor). Tried cleaning it up and putting on new hardware Still was unbearable to look at.. This was a stock amp with the cream covering and an EV 10" speaker. Upper back panel was missing

What a great job!
I've got it's big brother Ken, an RD 100. It too has the "pinwale" tolex, and I spent time trying to find some, but no luck. I had to rebuild the power supplies, and one of the protection diodes was shorted, but it sure sounds good!

The "pinwale" Tolex is also called "Cobra Vinyl", and it's REAL hard to find.

A propos of nothing at all, Hess & Eisenhardt Coachbuilders used Cobra Vinyl on their S&S Cadillac funeral coaches. Wears like iron.

Very rare tolex indeed. I decided after much searching to have the new upper back panel built with an order I had at a vendor, Amp Cabinets Direct. I had them cover it in the Fender smooth blind and send a yard of it so I c cm pulse cover the rest of the amp

It’s a killer amp with stock 10” EV speaker

Ken that's one fine looking amp. Gotta sound like a princeton or better. Nice work.

Nothing like my Princeton Reverb sound. Of course more power and a much tighter sound. It is after all a transistor front end and a 2x6L6 power amp. Far different than an all tube amp. Typical hybrid amp tone to me. The EV speaker is fairly bright. Easy controlled with the tone controls

The crunch channel has a 12AX7 to give a bit looser tone. Still not a Fender amp tone
