I'm looking at a Cougar 3 x 2 and a Desert Rose 3 x 3, 4 mos. old. Both entry level guitars. The Cougar is triple raise.

Any opinions on a standout in this choice?

My Opinion:
You will get excellent support from the owner of Desert Rose if you should need anything in the future..Not sure on the other brand..Ron

Desert Rose for sure, when you wanna move up he'll take the old on back as a
trade-in.

GREAT fella to deal with.

The gentleman who built Cougar Guitars, Freeman Cowgar, passed away a few years ago. Ed Naylor took over the parts, then he passed away, so parts would be be a problem. However, the Cougar guitar I played for 3 years was well built, played well, and probably would have lasted many more years without needing any new parts. I have no experience with Desert Rose, but being an almost new guitar, with dealer support available, it may be the best choice. Good Luck, Larry J.
