Ken, yes. You hit the nail on the head. I didn’t know what to call it but it’s that “boxing effect” that you mentioned. I really like those corners & edges. Also, I removed the cover, folded it and left it overnight. Then, next morning put it back on the guitar and no wrinkles. Leigh does fantastic work and her cover and leg bag prices are very reasonable too.

You got that right, Jerry. She made me a leg bag, and a cover for my GFI S-10 Expo. The leg bag is marine grade vinyl. The steel cover is black marine grade vinyl with blue piping and trim. Excellent fit and finish. I've got one of those Don Blood armrests on order, and as soon as I get it and make measurements, I'm ordering another one that will fit with the armrest attached. I'm probably going to get the nylon windbreaker material this time. She sent me a sample a while back, and it's good stuff - thin, but strong and light weight.

Here's what I currently have:

Thanks guys. I really appreciate you all and your encouragement. :D

Here's a little something I've been working on. I'm 95% happy with it and will fine tune so I feel 100%.

I didn't cut threads yet so it's not picture perfect. The inside has a beautiful chenille lining. It's nicely padded. The zipper glides easily and the cover encases the whole seat beautifully, if I do say so. It is of good quality.

Lynn Owsley - my newest victim

Post by Leigh Pollari »

I wanted to do something extra special for this legend, so I replicated a banner I found online. I also wanted to match up the beautiful steel cover Lynn's mother made for him. I think I did all right! Contact me if you need any covers made. Hopefully I can put a smile this big on your face too!

Looks great Leigh, I ordered one to replace my clumsy Reflectix cover. Looking forward to it, I'll report back!
Hi Leigh, I went away on vacation right after I received your new "cool" cover, but I wanted to let you know that it looks great. I haven't had an outdoor gig to try it on yet, but I did a little back yard test in direct sun and definitely works well. BTW, the wrinkles are not a problem, they relax out fairly quickly, sides fold in nice and flat for transport. Nice work, thanks!

I recently put a Don Blood Armrest on my GFI S-10 Expo, so I had to get another cover from Leigh. I received it this week. It is very nice, and fits perfectly. The slot for the output jack on the steel is in the exact location needed. The new box stitching she is doing with the covers is a real plus too. Material is Marine Grade Vinyl.

Just a quick plug for Leigh’s work. She made this reflective cover for me just before all but one of my outdoor shows were cancelled. Now that I’ve been able to put it to the test under ‘real world’ circumstances - a stage that went from blazing hot to cool breezes between sound check and the show - I can’t say enough great things about it.

I already knew the workmanship was terrific but now I know it also does it’s job as far as temperature control.

Two grateful thumbs up.

Nashville 400 Amp Cover for Sale - $50

Post by Leigh Pollari »

Hi!

I have 2 Nashville 400 amp covers to sell. Both are black marine grade vinyl. There is nothing wrong with them, I just don't want to hold onto them anymore. I am selling each for a mere $50 + $18 for shipping (includes insurance.)

I don't have a picture because I don't have a good model for them.

Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks! Leigh

Leigh has made me a couple of the reflective “stay cool” style covers for my steels, as well as a pack a seat cover. All of the covers are top quality and fit perfect! The reflective material really helps on summer festival stages!
