***FOUR OHM SPEAKER*** Ive got 2 LA400 amps Both have a BW that is a little weak and needs a new basket or replacing. I dont play steel, need something that sounds good for guitar.
Anyone know of someone that rebuilds these or another maker of 4-ohm speaker of comparable performance?

If I remember correctly that amp has BW 1203-4 speakers. I can rebuild those for you for $125.00 each plus shipping.
Not too many new 12" 4 ohm guitar speakers out there right now that are similar to the Black Widows.
JBL E-120 is a good replacement in that amp but those would need to be rebuilt to 4 ohm.
Electro Voice EVM12 speakers reconed to 4 ohms would be an upgrade from the Black Widows-but those have become hard to find for a reasonable price recently.
