there's been a few threads on materials, different grades of SS and aluminum, somebody made titanium fingers (I think) but i can't find the thread. Maybe Sonny Jenkins, he was recently machining a changer for a Williams.

Maybe they should have been heat treated (hard anodized & chrome plated) to extend their playing life...
