Pedal Spacing on Different Brands

Post by Chris Bauer »

I'm trying to get a sense of the differences in pedal spacing on guitars currently in production.

Please do chime in with the pedal spacing (and brand/model) of yours.

Thanks!

Thank God someone else asked that question.
But of course, this also opens up a whole new idea of mechanical multiplexing of 4 pedals in lieu of knee levers. Just a mental exercise, no one panic.

A GFI Ultra S12U has 3/4" wide pedals, Pedals measure 2 1/2 inches center to center.

I had a GFI Student model then I upgraded to a Mullen Royal Precision and let me tell you that little extra 1/8" spacing between the pedals really took some getting used to!

Pedal Spacing

I have an MSA Legend XL and the actual pedal surface is 3/4” wide and the space between pedals is 1 3/4”. They feel very natural under the foot.
I thought Nashville was the roughest, but I know I’ve said the same about them all.
