Well that seals it then. Thanks to all for the effort in resolving this mystery. I confess I hadn't heard of Robbie Primm but he'll be on my radar now. It's a shame that Glen Shelby isn't around to enjoy the attention...great album.

Robbie is from Shreveport and is a good friend of mine. Robbie played with Gene Watson for 4 or 5 years til Covid hit. Yes, a great player and great guy. That is for sure Robbie on that Buck Owens song and think Junior on most of others. Heâ€™s playing the purple Emmons LeGrand he played with Gene for years but has gone to a black push pull now that I set up for him.
