The Randy Clair Band Picture--I am the pedal steel player.

Post by Keith Hilton »

This is the picture of the Randy Clair band. I play pedal steel in the band. I am the one holding the Thompson Machine Gun. The car is a 1931 Buick, all original with a straight 8. Me and the drummer are holding bank bags full of money. The guitar player has a jar of Moonshine.

Bags had no money, but the Thompson machine gun was real.

Doug it is me in the picture, but the woman in the picture is either Blanche Barrow or Bonnie Parker. The guys in the picture are WD Jones, Henry Methvin, Buck Barrow, and Clyde Barrow. Or Doug, do I look like pretty boy Floyd, or Baby Face Nelson? Just kidding.

That Thompson is just in case anybody hauls out a banjo.
Many play better than I do. Nobody has more fun.

All you need to finish the photo is a banjo and accordion laying in the street with bullet holes in them.

Holding that Thompson was exhilarating. Terry, it reminded me of a rocket launcher I had as a Vietnam Marine---loaded with white phosphorous.
