Emmons sold
this Emmons split tail with 8 + 4 Emmons setup with trutone pickups sounds great plays like a push*+/pull strings sound even with the adjustable screws in the pickups for each string on both necks that trutone pups were made for. This is nit a museum piece but not bad for its age, reason selling is the weight is to much for me at my age and back. would trade for a newer all pull SD-10 3 + 5 with Emmons setup[/color]. it will need the top chrome strip om front apron re glued above the Emmons lable. it was glued but was not push down farther enough. has narrow width floor pedals on it but I found and purchased the correct wide ones with pedal bar for it . which is buyers choice which one they want.[/b]

This guitar once belonged to Bob Bender, Tim Darby and me, it plays well and sounds just like a PP should.

Other than that glue job in the front this is a good playing and good sounding guitar. If you are looking for a piece of art, this is not it. If you are looking for a PP that will haul the mail every day all day and leave you wanting to hear more give this a shot.
I played this steel for about 25 years of its 53 years, no one EVER came to me and said I liked it BUT. There was NEVER a but.
