A bandmate cued me to Abbey Lincoln's "It's Supposed to Be Love." It has tasteful accordion and pedal steel on it. (We may work this one up with a female singer).
Is this our Larry Campbell, on the Forum? Sounds great, weaving in and out!

Thanks for the heads up. It's the Larry Campbell who played with Bob Dylan for a long time:

I don't think he's on the forum (although we did have a guy by that name from Arkansas that hasn't posted in 10 years).
Here he is, tearing it up live on a Sho-Bud with the Black Crowes. He gets several solos here...

.
The following song on that concert recording, Appaloosa, is pretty good too. |

Thanks, Tucker. Yes, I found that name on the forum from Arkansas . . .but wondered whether he was the guy. Thanks for the link; I'll check it out!

Thank you Tucker. Larry Campbell with the Black Crowes made a really fun and joyous combination. I love a pedal steel player who can make me smile _________________ "The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over." |
