A very large Thank You to Jim Palenscar for outstanding service. I had a problem with a volume pedal and I was not sure I would be able to fix it myself. I sent it to SGNC and I forgot to include any info in the package. Jim called when he got it on Wednesday and must have fixed it immediately. I got it back on Saturday. I've dealt with Jim a few times before and he's always gone out of his way to be helpful. I once had an MSA that need a few tuners. Jim sent an assortment of them and said "keep what works and send the others back"! Thank you so very much Jim!

Hey I met Jim P. back in about 1998 touring through with Dale Watson and have known Jim now for that long and he has ALWAYS been just exactly that from then to now....Bless his Heart; they don't make'em like that anymore.

The patron saint of Southern California steel guitar. There's probably not a player around here who's not grateful to Jim for one favor or another. I know I am!

+1 on that. Jim is a "go to" for parts but what sets him apart is that he has been a great resource for solving problems as well.

Steel Guitars of North County is my "neigborhood guitar shop." After all, it's only 2,348 miles away, but the service never suffers from it.

Yeah...we're lucky to have Pali in our world. And, those of that live in SoCal get to hang out down there. Usually we make a day of it...have a little pizza for lunch (Jim always buys), and then some Mexican food for dinner while we wait for the traffic to die down.
Did I mention he's also a wiz at steel guitars? Here's to you, Jim...

Pali is the best, we are so lucky to have him here in San Diego . He has helped me out many times, always with a smile. I agree with Peter, every player in southern Cal probably owes Pali a little something. I’m super happy to call him a friend. He also throws a great party a couple times a year ,where all the L A guys come down and we just have a blast hanging out. Thanks Pali. Catt
