Just curious, anyone using a BL 710 Pickup on E9 neck on the new MSA's? Wondering how it compares to the 705?

Mickey Adams has a Youtube video that demonstrates how several different pickups sound in his MSA 'Legend' and if I recall correctly, the '710' was included.

Kevin... I have both... I used the 710 for a long time, currently back to the 705, but really like the 710 too, which to me seems a bit hotter a little more oomph... Don't think you can go wrong with either.

Thanks Dale. Have you tried the Telonics X10?

Does just sold one say anything?... There a great pick up and I even recorded with it a little. I think I used it on this https://youtu.be/ZHMCq7v7gzI I just didn’t warm up to it like the 710 or 705. And I’m actually getting a 206 for the new one that is yet to be determined whether I like it or not LOL

I also have both and agree that they are both great. I usually find myself using the 705 more often, though. I have a couple of others I'm about to try, including a Telonics 206.

I have tried the 705, 710, X10, 206, 10-1 & Truetone and I like the 705 the best. What I really like is an original chrome 705 that Kyle fixed for me. It is the cat's meow.

Me, too. When I got my Legend (used), it had a 710 on the E9th neck. It sounded great. I switched it to the C6th neck and didn't like it as well. Now both have 705s, and I think they both sound great. If I put the 710 back on the E9th neck, it's just because I feel like tinkering.
