I customized my Clinesmith steel guitar last night with a front fender badge from a vintage DKW motorcycle. DKW was the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer
from Germany until WW2. Harley-Davidson Hummer motorcycles were based off DKW designs and were used as part of war reparations. This steel sounds wonderful with my new band, The Hankerins!

| Yes, my middle initial is K. The emblem fits snugly into a mount I built in the tuner cavity and snaps out to place in the case pocket for road trips. |
