Did the Emmons PushPull S-10s come in both fat back and cut back? If so, do you recall which years for either? Thanks in advance. -DJ-

Doug,
I have a 1978 S10 Emmons (rosewood mica with 3&3)and I think it's a Fat Back meaning; it looks like my 1974 D-10 Emmons where you do the fine tuning with the allen wrench. It only has the little holes (upper and lower rows) for the allen wrench to fit. No large cut out like the later models. Hope this helps in some small way...

My S10 P/P is a fat back , meaning the is no cut out for your legs on the rear apron ? From memory the serial # is 1324 year of build ? who knows ?

Doug,

The one that I sold a while back was a '73 satin rosewood Fat Back. I'm pretty sure I've seen S10 Emmons push-pulls made both ways.

They did make both...I've owned several of each.

I believe the fat back apron style was used from 1970 to 1974. All other years had the cut out back apron. Bobbe Seymour, Herb Steiner or Buddy can probably confirm or correct my hunch.

Keep on pickin'!
