Post by Pete Dalton »

I have a 2006 MSA Legend and it sets in my music rooms please the time . I set down to play it and the a pedal will not return . I have taken the tuning rods off the bell cranks and I have found the cross shaft is binding . I keep it lubed and I have not had any issues at all with it .any ideas ? Thanks Pete Dalton

washer?

Post by David Hodan »

Check that the delrin washer hasn't popped out towards the front of the guitar. These can usually be popped back in without taking the guitar completely apart but removing the access plate in the 'rear' of the guitar allows for some slack and wiggle room. You can loosen the cranks on that rod and rotate it to a new spot. Lube the rod where it enters the washers with a single drop of tri-flo.
