That’s a beauty, Joe! I guess this proves that Herb R. did make a six string model. But I assume that the guitar pictured is a custom order, and it looks like the six string neck is simply an eight string neck, key head, nut and bridge with the top and bottom strings missing. Because the low and high string tuning machines holes are not drilled out on the key had, this was definitely a six string build from the start. But you could simply remove those two keys and string up a much more common eight string Remington as a six string guitar. The company closed after Herb passed so there is no way to order a new custom six string model, and it would probably be futile to wait for one to appear.

I stumbled upon a white, Remington triple-neck in a small music store in Hilo a few years ago. The guy only wanted $600 bucks for it but I didn't need another multi-neck at the time. I took some pictures and put them and the story up here on the forum and one of the members bought it. Heck of a deal even including the shipping back to the mainland.
