Supro ?
Update - I ended up buying this for $350. It is in excellent condition, all original, and sounds really great. Case (Geib) is also in good condition. This came with 3 steels, a Stevens Pat.pending, a Stevens with AP&M logo and patent number, and a flat rectangle about 1/4" thick with no markings. I hesitated to get it without being able to inspect it first but glad I did.
I am new to lap steel, got a Rogue just to try it out and now I am hooked. I am thinking about purchasing the steel in the attached picture but it is kind of a mystery. It looks like it is a Supro Irene, but there is no logo anywhere, and no sign on the headstock that it was removed. Plus the fretboard pattern is not roman numerals. Anyone have any info on what this might be ?

I have a Supro that is identical to the OP except mine is wood grain. The fret markers, control locations, screw locations are all the same.
On mine, the headstock has a metal tag tacked onto the headstock that says Supro. It looks like that tag is missing from the OP guitar. If the OP guitar is $300 or less, I'd pick it up.
