That sounds like it would be an equivalent (if higher pitched) version of open G dobro, or open A (high bass) Hawaiian. Same intervals, just pitched higher. It's also a lot like the conventional C6 but trading the 6th note for the high G.

If you don't like 6th tunings I can see its potential appeal. For string sets it should be pretty easy...you can either buy a standard C6 string set, lose the A string and buy another .010 or .011 for the high G, or buy a string set for "high G" C6, again ditch the A string, and add a 32-36 gauge string for the low G. Or buy an 8 string set for C6 high G...drop the 8th string and A string, etc. The proximity to pretty common tunings should make that easy enough.

You just need more strings Very Happy

7 = CEGACEG
8 = ACEGACEG

On 6 strings, if that high G is too thin sounding, you could try moving the G to string 6 for, GCEGCE. You gain a deeper bottom end, but you end up with an odd interval of 5 1 3 5 1 3, you’d still be in Open C though. Alternately, if the high G is too thin, you could keep the 135135 interval, and drop down to the more usual Dobro tuning of GBDGBD.

It’s fun trying new tunings, and there’s lots to be learned by it. On the other hand, it’s a bit of a rabbit-hole and can slow progressing
