Simple Question

Steel players YES; guitar players; NO.
I know my value as a utility guy. I don't care for my playing & wonder why people like it; I guess I'm just tired of hearing myself, but other people like it, since I am a "first call" utility guy in my area.

I was once approached by a famous "back in the day" bluegrass band to play banjo. I told them thanks for the invite, but I did not feel I was up to their level of performance on the 5-string, so I recommended a friend who was a killer banjo guy. So, I guess YEA; we know our worth.
