Hi to all. I recently joined and am trying to learn the art of the pedal steel guitar.
Kind of frustrating. There isn't a teacher around to show me the moves. I put an ad for a teacher in the local music store a few months ago but no calls yet. I am struggling with a good book and a couple of videos.
I really enjoy reading all the posts and it gives me moral support.

Will go to your country music night clubs and see if they have a PSG player they may or may not then the only other option is to have a long commute, go down to billy coopers for multiple days or find a teacher and schedule multiple days, you will learn so much from a teacher that it is worth it, you can curb bad habits and pick up new habits heck have a vacation. Just listen on the forum the good players stand out email 'em and hook up! videos do help but they can never replace a teacher and that is good you see this, jeff newman courses are good as well as billy coopers courses I personally like. What are you playing? CARTER D 10
