I love my 1974 Marlen! When searching the Forum for threads about these guitars, Ricky's name always pops up.

Thanks guys; I do appreciate the very nice supportive words.
My very first pedal steel was a Marlen; and I actually got to know Leonard Stadler through the years; as he was of course the builder and he taught me so much about them and got me parts when I needed them; as I really turned into a restorer of Marlen and Sho~bud. But with a heavy heart; Leonard passed away in 2002.... and shop closed up; I gave up on Marlen Restorations; as it just hurt every time I called his awesome son to go out in the shed and find me this or that...I couldn't do that anymore....so I stopped about mid 2000's. Sure I could work on one and LOVED doing it...and the memory of the passion Leonard and Marvin had for Marlen Custom Steel Guitars > LIVES ON....Thank You.
