Does anyone have information on what tuning was used.or helpful pointers in playing this tune ?

Never heard this version before, sounds great. I've played Bernie Kaai's original version in C6th and it lays out really well in that tuning. Pretty sure Bernie played in that as well. Benny however is most likely playing in his D13th tuning, top to bottom:

F#
D
B
A
F#
C

The intervals correspond with C6th (if you tune the 6th string down to Bb making it a C13th) but the whole thing is shifted up a whole step. C6th should be fine.

To me, it sounds like C6. I can hear the open E string at the end of the phrase in the 2nd measure of the melody, and it’s preceded by what sounds like an open C string.
