| My good friend and fellow steel player, Winston Street just got his new S-12U delivered this afternoon. This is a beautiful Fessy with a light burgundy lacquer wood body, TT p/u, 10 on the floor and 9 knees. Plus it's a left handed model! I think he'd be proud to email pics. He's at MSASTEEL@aol.com |

Ron,
thanks for the offer to post the pictures. I'll get some made and email them to you as soon as I get a chance. Jerry sent me a picture of it but its about 2 shades darker than his picture. I sure do love it. Jerry Fessenden is one of the nicest people I have ever been around. There's a neat little story that goes with the guitar. I'll be posting it later along with my thanks to Jerry. He sure put a lot of TLC in it and sweat also since it is left handed and he agreed to tackle the project..

Thanks guys. I like the reply that we're all like women waiting for a new arrival when someone gets a new guitar. Great bunch of guys on the forum. Billy Carr is supposed to bring his camera so we can get some pictures that show its true color. It's a red burgundy but is a shade lighter than these pictures. Took them with a video camera and then cut pictures from it. I sure am proud of it. Jerry really scratched his head on this one but never gave up. I can't thank him enough.
Ron, I have endplates, necks, keyheads and belcranks built for the new guitars. I think Billy Carr has me talked into calling them the Magnolia Steel Guitar. I'm re-designing the changer right now. This will still be a while in the making.

Gosh, I never noticed the way the picture came out. Jerry will shoot me. The picture reminds you of the aluminum 18 wheeler trailers that are bowed up to compensate for the load.. Sure hadn't noticed that the picture had distorted!!!!!!! You guys don't miss anything. LOL Believe me everything is striaght as an arrow on this baby. Haven't actually checked for cabinet drop yet but haven't notice any. It gets broken in today at a birthday bash. Trial by fire. 98 degrees outside today.
