Post by Dom Franco »

Here is a previously unreleased track by "Bethlehem"

THERE IT GOES AGAIN words and music by Danny Daniels
Recorded live in 1977 at an outdoor concert in Colorado, on Cassette!

I copied it to my digital multitrack, edited and remixed it.
I played My LDG pedal steel and sang harmony.

That’s the Bethlehem I remember! Great vocals & lyrics, tight playing and such tasty pedal steel and guitars. Thanks Dom for posting this. Sounded like a great board mix. Who would have thought a cassette recording would hold up so well for 45 years....
MCI Arlington S-10 3+5, George L E-66, BJS & Emmons bars, Fender Princeton 65W, Fender Satellite SFX, custom FX rack, 1983 Dobro 60D, SX-8 lap steel, Martin D16GT, Ibanez AS73, 1978 Rickenbacker 4000 custom.

Mike;
I was amazed at the great board mix as well. That would have been Michael Wayne Shoup, our soundman at the time. There were some people talking in the back ground bleeding through the vocal mics... other wise the track was very clean.

I'm really liking this. I love your style of steel picking, and the subject matter of the songs as well. I've never heard of this group before, but I'm going to look for some of their music, if it's still out there.
Steeless.
