Topic: Adjusting pedal from top of the guitar |

Hi, does anyone think it’s possible to use ball joints at the top of the underneath of the guitar as well as the bottom to adjust the pedal movement on the pedal board. I’m tired of bending down to do it?

Thank you John! But for those of us with Carter’s is their a way to modify our guitars to have that feature?

The new Sierras have this feature as well. Carter pedal rods can be modified. Requires a 10-32 turnbuckle and cutting of the pedal rods. Where the ped rods are cut they'll need a left and right hand thread cut on them.
Sorry, I don't offer this service, but I'm sure you can find a machinist or mechanic somewhere to do it for you.
This is not the optimum set-up for this, but it does the job. |

How often does anyone have to adjust pedal rods? Once you have them correct, what would change? Just curious.

Good point Ian, I find with different shoe a slight adjustment needs to be made. If I just wear the same shoes it doesn’t need adjusting.

Brian,
I find that if I wear the same shoes every time I play it works out better. The same with your steel seat.
You position yourself in the same location and it helps with your playing.
