Just wondering, is all that curly maple veneer or solid?

Regardless the wood choice and treatment is stunning.

That is the real deal on the wood. Solid all the way through. NO veneer on any of the guitars I build.

Here is a genuine Hudsonator, one of Jimmie's earliest pedal resonator guitars. The changer is at the right hand side of the guitar as you look at it head on. The pedal and lever pulls are short as a result. It's tuned to D9. The cone is enclosed in a chamber in the undercarriage.

That was one of the first Hudsonators built.

I think of it as a "pedal resonator". There's steel guitars, pedal steel guitars, resonators, and pedal resonators.
