Hey Pee Wee ! Nice Video - Great Concept - Great Song; Certain steel parts in the song that have an outstanding sustain remind me of some of your work from the mid 70s, making single notes sound like the string section of an orchestra. Nice to see you are still going strong. Great country video from Western Swing Authority.

Jeez, I don’t know, Jim - these places are all a lot cleaner and nicer than the ones I played in!

And yes: GREAT song! Merry Christmas!

Wow PeeWee. That is great. Lots of history.
The only thing that would make it better is showing WSA live in a bar.

I sure miss playing for PEOPLE dancing. I get tired of my own playing and have thus not touched a steel in almost a year.

I am afraid that the "age" thing is going to catch me before I ever get to play a live gig again.
AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. My current rig of choice is 1993 Emmons LeGrande w/ 108 pups (Jack Strayhorn built for me), Goodrich OMNI Volume Pedal, George L's cables, Goodrich Baby Bloomer and Peavey Nashville 112. Can't get much sweeter.
