David,you are right,
Bobbe has much more appreciation for this guitars than I do,he goes way back and this guitar means to him more then it does to me..and he will bring this beauty to perfect condition and for all the players to see..and I can get to my sessions with a great guitar that will not make any bad suprises.Randy Beavers had played this guitar and loved it and I`m sure everyone who sits behind that `64 Sho~Bud will feel the same.Only thing is 10 years from now my Fessy will be just a used guitar worth $1500 and this Sho~Bud will be in steel guitar museum and worth way more than it is now.Value of that guitar will never go down, only up.

Hi Bob,

one of my Promat steel`s is on the way and it wont be here in time for recording and second one wont be ready until august. That`s the only reason.

Tony,LOL..yes looks nice but that`s it, it is 454 Casull (45LC) big and expencive rounds (I like cheap 9mm) for target shooting and that thing is also heavy..very heavy..talking MSA or push pull heavy..ha ha,,finish is pretty rare high polish and grips are factory Taurus recoil absorbing rubber grips.I like to spend afternoon once in awhile with my wife at the range but ammo is getting very expencive tho.

Db

ps

now .22 is a great round for target shooting. You can spend the whole afternoon at the range with your friends and not spend 10 bucks for ammo.

Tony,I like this much better tho Image

I got a lot of free stuff with This approach..

Wish I could visit this year, but too much work, too many gigs, and not enough me.

From what Bobbe says, it's probably time to get him to buy some of that old iron.

He's probably bleeding some good looking woman of her last dime before she gets smart..

Well Damir, what got me is that his other arm is just that long, and it's in his front pocket..

Damir and Bobbe,
Is that the amplifire which you mentioned Valve King ?

By the way, I have two Sho-Buds , one is Crossover Custom (converted to regular 8+5) and the other is beautiful The Professional ( which has Cherry apron and natural top).
They are heavy but they have that Sho-Bud tone.

I hope you like your Fessy as much as I do mine! I think a lot more of Seymour since he sold me a Fessenden. Image

I like the colour too. It's a handsome instrument, with an original colour that will stand out on a bandstand.

We all love Bobbe but I am telling you, stay away from him in a lightning storm. That's what happened to him. He was struck by lightning on a golf course. It's a long story but ask him. He won't deny it. If you're a pretty girl he will even offer to show you the scar. We know how goofy he has gotten lately. I think he really likes to "ride the lightnin'"

Damir,
If you ever needed to sell the Fessy, you could always give Gary Steele a hollar !!
